We often say, that summer is when life gets really busy and we like to stay back in our AC rooms.

But when nature offers you a peaceful place covered with deodar trees, pictorial view of Himalaya, with immense historical and mythological importance, then it is really not a good idea to sit back and waste the time and increase the fat.

Pack your bag and get ready to explore Lohaghat.

One of the many gems in Uttrakhand.

Blessed with serene climate, lush greenery and pine and oak forests make a perfect place to escape from your busy life.

“Why to go to Kashmir, if there is heaven in the world, so it’s in Lohaghat”.
                   - Pilgrim Barron

Situated along the banks of river Lohawati at an altitude of 1,706 m above sea level, Lohaghat is one of the most scenic destinations in the state.

Filled with pine and oak forests, the hill station offers natural beauty in abundance. During summers the area is covered with Buransâ Rhododendron, the state flower of Uttarakhand.

There are numerous temples in Lohaghat and each of them holds some association with our historical and mythological past.

Lohaghat is a town and Nagar Panchayat in Champawat district, Uttarakhand.

Best Time To Visit

The weather condition of Lohaghat is quite cold during winter as usual other hill stations of India but much pleasant during summer.

March to May is perfect where you can enjoy the sunshine.

Try to avoid traveling during monsoon, the weather is cloudy and you can not enjoy the view of snowy mountains.
