Situated along the banks of river Lohawati at an altitude of 1,706 m above sea level, Lohaghat is one of the most scenic destinations in the state.
Filled with pine and oak forests, the hill station offers natural beauty in abundance. During summers the area is covered with Buransâ Rhododendron, the state flower of Uttarakhand.
There are numerous temples in Lohaghat and each of them holds some association with our historical and mythological past.

The weather condition of Lohaghat is quite cold during winter as usual other hill stations of India but much pleasant during summer.
